Fourth Series: Contemporary Persian Poetry & Poets with Sayeh Eghtesadinia

Join us for the fourth series of Introduction to Contemporary Poetry and Poets with Sayeh Eghtesadinia. In this series, we will explore documentaries focused on modern Iranian poetry, including films on Simin Behbahani, Mahmoud Kianoush, Reza Baraheni, and Siavash Kasraei, as well as a session on children’s poetry in Iran after the Revolution.

Each session will include a screening and discussion of the documentary, along with readings and analysis of selected poems by the featured poets.

This course is offered in five sessions. Participants are welcome to attend individual sessions or register for the full series. Each session has its own ticket link.

Classes will be held Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., beginning March 29, at Pars Place.
