This session marks the second part of our career development series, exploring diverse career paths in the medical field. The discussion will cover educational and residency pathways, transitioning and managing a clinical or private practice, notable achievements and challenges, the experience of practicing medicine in the U.S. as an Iranian, and strategies for maintaining work-life balance.
Our distinguished panelists include:
- Ahmad Soolari, DMD, MS: Founder of Soolari Dentistry; Clinical Associate Professor in Department of Periodontics at the University of Maryland Dental School; Research Associate with the New York University College of Dentistry
- Anahita Seyedan, D.O.M, M.Ac, L.Ac, M.S: After earning her first graduate degree in Biotechnology from the University of Maryland in 2006 and working as a scientist for vaccine-producing companies for several years, she decided to follow her true passion for studying medicine. She specializes in lyme, auto-immune disorders, and mental health.
- Yousef Zarbalian, MD: Founder of East-West Rheumatology with expertise in immunology, western pharmacology, herbalism, and medical acupuncture
